Tonight we are excited to welcome our new artist @joel_pisow_pots at Cézanne Gallery for the last First Friday of the year! Joel is currently collaborating with the Cézanne team to prepare his grand opening show in early 2026, but stop by this evening for an exclusive sneak peek of his work.
Little more about joel.. Born and raised in a small town in northwest Indiana, Joel Pisowicz began working with clay as a hobby when he was a teenager and eventually pursued a career in ceramics. Joel received a BFA from Indiana University in 2014 and went on to build a studio and make a living as an independent studio artist in Porter, IN. He has shown his work at art festivals, galleries, and exhibitions throughout the U.S. In 2020 he relocated to Bloomington, Indiana and went on to receive an MFA in ceramics from Indiana University in the Spring of 2023. During his time in graduate school, Joel reinvented his practice. Later in 2023 he moved to Kansas City, Missouri to continue his career in ceramics. He was a Resident artist at @belgerarts Belger Craneyard studio for two years. Joel has recently moved home to Porter, Indiana to reopen his personal studio to continue elevating his practice of creating sculpture.

🌞✨ A golden Summer Solstice night, where breath flowed with intention, tea warmed the soul, and sound waves carried us into deep serenity. Hosted with care and intention by @melissasaubers, @pauly_lamaz, and @amy.renee.kraus, the evening unfolded in a gallery alive with art, each piece adding its own brushstroke of magic and charm to the experience.

On Sunday, September 21st, this trio will host another gathering for the Autumn Equinox, ready to welcome a new season. 🍂

An Immersive Dinner & Film Experience
📍 Cézanne | 📅 August 22/23 | 🕖 7:00 PM

Join us for the second edition of Le Ciné Club, an intimate evening of cinema, food, and atmosphere at Cézanne. This time, we’re screening La Piscine, the sultry 1969 French thriller starring Alain Delon, Romy Schneider, Maurice Ronet, and Jane Birkin.

Set at a sun-drenched villa on the Côte d’Azur, La Piscine simmers with tension, jealousy, and slow-burning intrigue — all under the Mediterranean heat.

🎬 Your base ticket includes event entry, welcome snacks, and a 4-course dinner served throughout the film — designed to reflect the sensuality and mood of the movie.
🍷 Wine pairings are available as an optional add-on.
🪑 Comfier seat upgrades are also available — but only until 7 days before the event.

Dinner is curated and prepared by the team at Westport Café, with a film-inspired menu designed by Chef @romainmonnoyeur.
